In 2004, the Glengyle distillery was reopened in Campbeltown, Scotland.
On March 25, 2004, the first barrels were filled with the new fire.
This is the first 10-year Kilkerran from the first six barrels that were filled on 25.03.2004!
The first six barrels that filled Glengyle were each a fresh exOloroso, exFino, exRum, exMadeira, exPort wine and exBourbon cask.
Just over 10 years later, these barrels were filled to 700 bottles each!
