Product information "Benriach 10 Year Old 43% vol. 0,7l"
A classic Speyside single malt whiskey, fresh and lively with a warming spiciness and plenty of fruit.

Aroma: like an orchard with lots of fresh, green fruits, with some ginger, tangerine and creamy vanilla - in the background a little mint and citrus fruit
Taste: warm, roasted oak and green apples, followed by dried apricots, peach and soft banana - a hint of anise and lime
Finish: long, warm finish with a clear barley touch

Ich habe mehr erwartet. Sowohl was den Geruch ( wenig Frucht, dafür leichte Schärfe) anbelangt, als auch was den Geschmack (etwas Holz) und den Abgang (eher pelzig) betrifft. Insgesamt, für mich persönlich, nicht so gut.

Habe diesen Ben Riach spontan gekauft weil ich den 16 jährigen geschenkt bekommen hatte. Dieser hat einen unverwechselbaren vollmundigen Geschmack. Dieser Whiskey ist sehr zu empfehlen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sind TOP.

Bei diesem Benriach kann man nichts falsch machen...

Aroma: Frisch und knackig mit grünen Früchten, Ingwer und Mandarine. Dann Vanille, Minze, Zitrusfrucht und etwas Gerste im Hintergrund.
Geschmack: Geröstete Eiche, grüne Äpfel und getrocknete Aprikosen. Anklänge von Pfirsich, Banane, Anis und Zitronenschale.
Abgang: Langanhaltend mit Gerstenaromen
