The 25-year-old is the oldest bottling of Aultmore, distilled from undetected barley malt.
Aroma: at the beginning a light fruity sweetness, to malty - then more and more ripe fruit - in the background roasted coffee and a touch of old leather
Taste: now more noticeable malt, paired with fresh vanilla and toffee - the fruits are still present, with notes of dark chocolate
Departure: a long, warm finish - still the ripe fruits and the malt - very harmonious and soft

Ein fantastischer Whisky mit sehr vielen Nuancen, dem das Alter sehr gut bekommen ist. Bei 260 Euro würde ich sicher zögern, aber 230 Euro sind ein absolut angemessener Preis, zugreifen ehe der Preis wieder nach oben geht!
