Since 2002 Caroni is no longer distilled. The old stocks are being launched by European bottlers. Caroni is a high-quality molasses rum with a lot of power and depth.
Aroma: clearly the sugarcane sweetness, with vanilla and spicy aromas Taste: pleasant sweetness with fruity notes of banana and mango, some cocoa and again the pleasant spice Finish: balanced finish with fruit, vanilla and some cinnamon
Distilled: January 2000 stored in Trinidad until 12.01.2012 Bottled: March 2012 (in Scotland)

In der Farbe dunkles Gold mit Kupfer- und Bernsteinreflexen. Das Aroma ist warm und geschmeidig, Noten von Vanille, Schokolade und Lakritze zeigen sich. Dann folgen exotische Früchte und Kardamom. Im Gaumen ist der Rum kraftvoll.
