An elegant, fruity-spicy single malt whisky from Scotland's only distillery on the island of Jura.
Matured in exBourbon and exSherry casks.

Nose: very fruity with pineapple, plum and almonds, with freshly roasted coffee
Taste: fruity with hints of citrus, dark toffee and ginger - some sherry with dried fruits and cinnamon
Finish: the sweet plums on the finish again

Ein mildes Highlight mit Noten von dunklem Honig (würde sagen Kastanienhonig). Einer meiner Favoriten.

Sehr lecker, kräftig im Geschmack, dazu dezenter Rauch. Ähnlich dem Turas Mara, man merkt ihm aber die längere Reife an.
Nase: Sehr fruchtig, für mich sehr schwer definierbar. Einerseits dunkle Früchte, andererseits exotisch süß.
Geschmack: Fruchtig, leicht süß. angenehme Gewürznote mit leichter Schärfe.
Abgang: Mittellang, leichte Eiche, dezente dunkle Fruchtigkeit.

Dieses Elixier ist mir zu unausgereift. Es schmeckt wir ein überzüchteter Origin oder wie ein unausgereifter Diurach´s Own. Er könnte auch "Lorelei" heißen ("Ich weiß nicht, was soll es bedeuten..."). Er hat mir überhaupt nicht zugesagt. Aber vielleicht habe ich eine zu grobe Nase oder Zunge. Mein´s ist er nicht.
