Product information "Craigellachie 23 Year Old 46% vol. 0,7l"
We had to wait that long!
Finally, there is the highly praised single malt as original bottling of the distillery.
The distillery is perched on a hill in the heart of the Scottish Speyside.
Since 1891 whiskey is produced there according to the traditional method. The single malt whiskey gets its unique taste through the curved copper tubes used for cooling, the so-called "Worm Tubes". The malts
receive thereby their characteristic fruity notes.
Whiskey critic Jim Murray once said:
"Craigellachie I always prefer The Macallan ... If you get this whiskey for sale, take as much as you can carry.
Its strength lies in the creamy softness, the oiliness that adheres to the palate, so that follows the long, sweet malt flavor a wonderfully smoky finish. "
Aroma: a light sweetness, with some smoke - almost sweet with a hint of rose scent - then sweet fruit and damp forest soil
Taste: stronger in the taste, again fruits - now fresh figs red apples and pears - in the background a slight Earl Gray note
Finish: long, creamy finish with fruity notes - again some smoke

Hält was der Name verspricht!
Leichte schärfe am Gaumen, angenehm im Abgang.
