Ein wirklich sehr edles Lagerfeueraroma; Nicht nur in der Nase, sondern auch im Abgang. Schöner Geschmack von Torf und Rauch. Das salzige Karamell kann ich leider nicht entdecken. Es ist ein typischer Coal Ila in meinen Augen. Ein wenig süßer wie ich es von einem 18 Jahre alten Islay erwartet hätte, aber dafür sehr schöne Eichen- und Holznoten die sich im Mund entwickeln.
Dieser Whisky war sein Geld auf alle Fälle wert. Schade nur, dass die Auflage so klein ausgefallen ist.
