This Glendronach got its finish in Tawny Port barrels.
This bottling is produced in very small batches.
The result is a single malt whiskey with very nice notes.
Aroma: very well rounded aromas of golden syrup and red fruit compote, some grapefruit in between - lighter aromas of cinnamon and nutmeg complete the whole
Taste: distinctly tart cranberries and crispy barley, warm plums and roasted apples - some cedar wood and sweet notes reminiscent of a cigar box - all together delicately warm and very complex
Finish: warming delicate with lots of fruit and a warm and spicy oak note
