Matured in three different barrel types - Refill Casks, American Oak Hogsheads and European Oak Refill Casks

Aroma: initially malty with clearly peat smoke, earthy with ripe fruit, especially apple and plum - slightly sweet aromas of vanilla and caramel - then roasted oak and some peppermint
Taste: surprisingly soft, very well balanced - strong and sweet, then comes the classic Talisker! strong with malty heat, sweet and spicy with the legendary pepper note
Finish: Long, complex and warm on the finish, lots of smoke and exotic spices
