The first 14-year-old from Arran!
Fired with unsalted barley, the result is a beautifully rounded, beautifully balanced malt with Arran-typical, fruity aromas.

Aroma: juicy dried fruit, toffee and a little vanilla
Taste: again the dried fruit - especially dates and figs, with apples and oranges - then spicy with nutty notes, again caramel
Finish: fruity and spicy on the finish - you can see the proximity of the distillery to the sea - in the background a light pinch of sea salt

Schöner Whisky mit würzigem Antritt, aus dem sich ein süß-fruchtiger Geschmack mit Anklängen von tropischen Früchten, wie etwa Ananas entwickelt. Empfehlenswert.

Ein wunderbar ausgewogener Malt wohl duftend und reich an Geschmack. Er riecht genau so gut wie er schmeckt, ist nicht kühlgefiltert und trotz der spürbaren 46% angenehm zu trinken.

Toller Tropfen, immer noch wird Arran unterschätzt, selbst bei den Standardabfüllungen.
Dieser toppt den 10jährigen noch um Längen.

Premium Klasse

Nase: Sehr fruchtig, Vanille, Karamell, Honig, Getreide.
Geschmack: er schmeckt wie er riecht, voll und reich, gaumenfüllende frische helle Früchte, Vanille, Karamell, Eiche, Honig.
Abgang: lang, komplex, fruchtig süß, ganz leicht säuerlich mit einem Hauch Bitterkeit. Große Klasse!
Macht mit einem Tropfen Wasser noch mal schön auf.
Gutes PLV. Den kann ich besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Aroma: süße dunkle Früchte und sehr viel Vanille, ein bisschen Holz
Geschmack: bestätigt das Aroma: noch ein bisschen süßer mit Schokladennoten, dunklen Früchten, Gewürzen wie Zimt und ganz viel Vanille
Abgang: Vanille, Vanille und noch mehr Vanille

Ich mag den 10er mehr, weil dieser fruchtiger und peppiger ist. Der 14er ist mir ein bisschen zu "langsam" und zu eindimensional vanillig.
