A true London Dry Gin that actually comes from London!
The gin is distilled with the utmost care, very British ingredients and a high degree of firing. The water comes from a distillery source in the heart of London, Clerkenwell, the grain comes from Norfolk and Suffolk.
A total of 13 botanicals can be found in London no. 1: Juniper berries and black currants are a matter of course, as are lemon and orange peel, coriander and angelica root. Add to that cassia, savory, almonds! and licorice - very unusual are bergamot (known from English Earl Gray tea) and gardenia extract (an gentian flower) responsible for the blue color of the gin!
An initially very soft gin, in the aroma and in the taste you can almost effortlessly recognize all the ingredients - in the taste and at the latest on the finish, the harmoniously balanced gin very intense - refresh bitter bitter finish.
