For this whiskey, the barley is left to dry for 48 hours over peat fire.
Less than 100 barrels are bottled every year.
The saltiness of a Campbeltown whiskey and the peat note Longrows complement each other very nicely.

Lecker! Der Rauch ist für mein Empfinden deutlich weniger ausgeprägt, als in anderen rauchigen Whiskies. Im Prinzip wie ein Springbank 10 (kein Wunder), bei dem noch etwas mehr Aromen hinzugekommen sind. Exotische Früchte, dezent geräuchert, süßlich-getreidiger Nachgeschmack. Trotz des jungen Alters keine störende Alkoholschärfe. Für Springbank-Fans eine schöne Ergänzung.
