At age 17, this Ben Nevis is much younger than previous single barrel bottling of the distillery.
Bottled for Germany, 236 bottles of cask strength could be bottled from the barrel.
The selected exBourbon barrel was stored in warehouse no. 6 of the distillery
Aroma: gentle, warm sweetness of roasted almonds glazed with honey, then nut cream and some apple and pear jelly - in the background custard
Taste: At the beginning fresh with a pleasant sweetness - then come notes of mint, apple and fine vanilla - you can taste a touch of milk chocolate, to subtle woody influences, a bit tart
Departure: strong walnut that stays fresh, especially mint with white mouse au chocolat
