An often underrated and unjustified distillery!
Aroma: heavy dark fir honey and dark plums and blackberries - with a little bit of herbs like thyme and mugwort - a strong pinch of freshly ground black pepper floats over everything
Taste: powerful with lots of sweetness, fully ripe dark cherries, honey and brown cane sugar, almost blockade - then some fresh oak, again the black pepper and the herbs - but in the foreground this incredible sweetness
Finish: an almost endless finish, still the sweetness of dark fruits and honey - a hint of oak
