Glendronach's 16-year-old Platinum matured for at least 16 years in former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
Color: Ruby red heart in mahogany
Aroma: Deliciously spicy honey sweetness, juicy raisins and sultanas, mild coffee and walnut cake get their appeal with a touch of flaming orange - plus fresh barley
Taste: a torrent of ripe, muted red fruit sloshing over the sweetness of dates, dusted with mocha, combined with freshly cut herbs - then it tastes more like the mature earthy aromas of the classic mature oak, again the sweet barley
Finish: long lasting and sweet
