With the exclusive series Reserva Limitada, a new rum has been created every year since 2013.
For Zacapa Reserva Limitada 2013, the first limited edition, masterblender Lorena Vazquez chose a variety of rums with different profiles and ages from six to 24 years.
In the final stage of its maturation, the rum is stored in American white oak and Spanish sherry casks. This second barrel storage gives the blend its unmistakable aroma and its extraordinary complexity.
Aroma: Chocolate, Roasted Nuts, Caramelized Dried Fruit, Toffee, Vanilla, Raisins, Wood and Tart Citrus
Taste: silky and full-bodied, complex and very well balanced - pleasantly soft and mild
Finish: Long-lasting finish - still very soft and mild
