Finlaggan is the name of the castle on the Scottish Isle of Hebrides Islay, which used to be the seat of the Lord of the Isles.
Finlaggan is a single malt whiskey from one of the most famous distilleries of Islay, unfortunately the Vintage Malt Whiskey Company is not allowed to give the name for legal reasons.
A genuine, peaty Islay Single Malt Whiskey, with lots of peat and smoke in the aroma and flavor, plus medicinal and phenolic notes, moist leather and a hint of licorice.
So everything you expect from an Islay whiskey.

hätte ich mir rauchiger vorgestellt. also absolut trinkbar aber im Vergleich zu den anderen Finlaggans durch das Alter nicht besser!

hatte ich mir mehr erwartet. der finlaggan in Cask strength ohne Alter haut mich mehr vom Hocker!
