McDonald's celebrated Traditional Ben Nevis 46% vol. 0,7l
In 1882, the Ben Nevis Distillers and the Nevis Distillery existed in the Scottish Highlands at Fort William, both distilleries at that time owned by Donald Peter McDonald, the son of Long John McDonald, who had built the Ben Nevis Distillery in 1825.
The fact that both distilleries were owned by the McDonald clan only became known to the Ben Nevis distillery a few years ago - which is why they are launching this bottling under the McDonald's name.
The Vatted Malt Whisky of this bottling is based on the whiskys from around 1882.
