Limited single cask bottling of the Springbank distillery
Longrow was a distillery in Campbeltown, which belongs to Springbank today.
The Longrow is still a completely unique malt, it is distilled with higher peat content than the Springbank bottlings and thus has a completely different taste.
He also has the typical Campbeltown saltiness.
The 16-year-old Longrow matured in Manzanilla barrels and was bottled in June 2013.
Aroma: sweetish, with a hint of creamy cocoa
Taste: first dark, then chocolate and a pinch of blood orange and raisins.
Finish: fruity, then a little bit salty
Like all Springbank bottlings, Longrow is not cool-filtered (non-chill filtered) and has no dyes.
