The brothers Laing from independent bottler Douglas Laing have been parting ways since 2013.
Thus, the new name Hunter Laing was born under the leadership of Stewart H. Laing, who leads the brands Old Malt Cask, Old and Rare and Douglas of Drumlanrig with his two sons Scott and Andrew.

Aroma: malty with intense aromas of brown sugar, butterscotch and a dash of vanilla
Taste: velvety soft with clearly toffee, some oak and vanilla, with maple syrup
Finish: long finish with hints of dark chocolate and coffee
