Medoc Bordeaux 2015 Chateau Sipian Quintessence 13.5% vol. 0.75l

The Chateau Sipian was first mentioned in the 1815 edition of Cocks & Feret and is listed in the official 1933 classification of the Cru Bourgois of Médoc. The Chateau is located near Chateau Potensac and has been owned by the Méhaye family since 1978.
50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot are grown on the 17-hectare winery owned by owner Frederic Méhaye.
Frederic Méhaye has a very good name, so he produced four years at Chateau La Tour de By, a vintage at Chateau Fourcas Dupre and a vintage at Chateau Lafite-Rothschild.
The offer from the Chateau Lafite-Rothschild to produce the Los Vascos in Chile, he declined to work on the winery of his family.

The Quintessence stores for two years in new barrique barrels, there are only 6,000 bottles produced annually of this quality.
The wine has a deep, ruby red color, a delicate bouquet with a noticeable youthful note, supple in the mouth with an intense, fruity taste.
