A strong Blended Scotch Whisky that has been on the British market since the 1920s.
No lesser Malt Whisky than Laphroaig is in this Blend the dominant carrier of the smoky notes of this Blend.

Nose: sweet, soft fudge dominates, very creamy with a hint of herbal notes
Taste: soft and creamy, you can clearly taste the malted barley
Finish: soft and harmonious with a very beautiful oak note

Dieser Islay Whisky hat mir gar nicht zugesagt. Geschmacklich finde ich ihn sehr flach. Habe bei dem Preis aber auch nicht wirklich viel erwartet.
Benutze ihn nur noch für Irish Coffee.

In der Nase etwas phenolisch, Lagerfeuer, schwach reife Früchte, Karamell. Im Mund dazu Würze, etwas Vanille, Malz, etwas bitter/scharf/rauh.
Akzeptabler Abgang.

Unter Berücksichtigung des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses werden aus 3 Sternen dann 4.
