Carsebridge 47 Year Old in 1965 Clan Denny 45.3% vol. 0,7l
The Grain distillery Carsebridge was closed in 1983, so with this 47-year-old bottling you have not only a bottling of a distillery that will never produce again, but also a whiskey with an unusually old age.
Grain whiskey is becoming increasingly popular, but you also get excellent qualities at a comparatively very attractive price.
Aroma: full and balanced in the aroma, intense fruity, with some oak and spices
Taste: wonderfully sweet, clearly bumped sugar, toffee and honey, then fruits again
Finish: slight oak tones, the spicy notes come again
