Excellenter Whiskey, allerdings für den Kunden relativ schwer einzuschätzender Wert. Das Marketing ist mir bei Lagavulin zu aggressiv - man muss als Kunde höllisch aufpassen den Preis für diesen Whiskey persönlich korrekt anzusetzen, abhängig von Jahreszahl der Abfüllung, den jeweiligen Distillers Editions etc. Der leicht torfige Geschmack ist typisch und auch perfekt. Ist für mich ein Whiskey an einem besonderen Anlass - ggf. zusätzlich nach einem Glas schottischem Whiskey aus anderer Produktion.

Die ganze DE Serie ist sehr fein. Torf und Sherry geht immer gut zusammen
