Balvenie had this single malt ripen in former Cuban rum barrels.
The Speysider does the extra sweetness and fruitiness very well.
Aroma: complex aromas with a wonderful sweetness on the nose, plus vanilla, honey and a lot of malt
Taste: at the beginning clearly toffee, then tropical fruits and orange peel are added - fine smoky tones in the background
Finish: the finish is medium long, a lot of oak and malt
