Longmorn 1973/2012 Gordon & MacPhail 43% vol. 0,7l

Gordon & MacPhail bottles this bottling under license, the bottle bears the distillery label.
Founded in 1884 by John Duff in Elgin (Speyside), later sold to the Grant family (from Glenlivet).
Longmorn malts have long been one of the most important ingredients in the success of the "Chivas Regal" blend.
In 1970, Longmorn was sold to the Canadian giant Giant Seagrams - 32 years later - 2002 - then to the French company Pernot Ricard.
"Lhanmorgund" or "Lannmarnoch", as Longmorn is known in the Gaelic language, means "Place of the Holy Man" because the distillery was built on the site of an old cemetery and chapel.
The fact that the distillery now belongs to the French requires that the "inhabitants" of the cemetery turn around in the grave ....

Sherry aromas, hints of milk chocolate and a delicate touch of peaches.
Sweet in the taste, clear notes of ripe summer berries, soft and very well balanced.
