Glenburgie 1966/2012 Gordon & MacPhail 43% vol. 0,7l
Gordon & MacPhail bottles this bottling under license, the bottle bears the distillery label.
Founded in 1829 under the name Kilnflat, was acquired in 1930 by Hiram Walker and transferred their subsidiary Stodart.
Since then, most of the production has been used for the blends of Ballantine's.
In the years 1958 to 1981 Glenburghie (also Glenburgie) produced the malt "Glencraig" with the help of two Lomond stills (a variant of the pot stills, in which one can produce different malts by small technical modifications).
Aroma: fresh and malty, combined with brown sugar and delicate butterscotch
Taste: sweet sherry and dark, melted chocolate - light notes of fresh herbs
Finish: rich - distinctly red, ripe berries
