Glen Spey 1990/2012 Bladnoch Distillery Forum 52.4% vol. 0,7l

Bladnoch was founded in 1817 by the McClellands family and remained family property until 1938.
In the following decades, the owner of the Lowland distillery changed several times, ultimately she went to United Distillers, the Bladnoch quit in 1993 and sold in 1995 to the Irish contractor Raymond Armstrong.
At first, holiday homes were to be built on the site, then a whiskey museum - in 1997, they decided to resume production on a small scale.

In addition to the regular distillery operation Armstrong founded the "Bladnoch Distillery Forum".
Under this label single-cask bottlings of the most diverse Scottish distilleries are brought to the market, which are characterized by an almost unbeatable price / performance ratio.
It's all about the contents of the bottle - not a nice bottle, an attractive cork seal or an outstanding label.

Thus, the whiskeys are filled into a standard bottle, receive a sealed cork and a label that was made with the in-house inkjet printer.
Do you need more for a good whiskey?

Glen Spey
The Speyside distillery was founded around 1885.
Glen Spey produces a light, fragrant malt, which unfortunately is rarely bottled as a single malt, as most of the production goes into the blends of J & B (Justerini & Brooks).
