Ballechin # 7 Bordeaux (First-fill) Matured 46% vol. 0,7l
Ballechin was next to Edradour one of seven farmhouse distilleries that burned in Perthshire Malt Whiskey.
Founded in 1810, the distillery was closed in 1927.
Edradour would like to recall the old distillery with this bottling and let the malt ripen in first fill Bordeaux barrels.
In total, only 6,000 bottles were bottled.
Ballechin is a heavily tormented Highland Malt!
In the next few years Edradour wants to release more bottlings under the name Ballechin.
