Honored as Best Pot Still Whiskey in the class up to 12 years old at the World Whiskey Awards 2014!

The favorite among the Pure Pot Still Whiskeys from Ireland.
The distillery Midleton distilled this malt since 1939.
Redbreast is perfectly balanced at the age of 12, a true exception whiskey from Ireland.

Nose: rich with distinct aromas of nuts and dried fruits - spicy with an oily note
Taste: the spiciness increases, again the nuts, with citrus fruit and traces of marzipan and again the dried fruit - sherry in the background
Finish: long creamy and spicy finish, some caramel

für mich der wohlschmeckendste, mildeste " Whiskey für Damen". Habe ich zum ersten Mal in Irland getrunken, in einem urgemütlichen Pub, wo man mehr als 200 verschiedene Whiskeys bestaunen kann....einfach toll!!!

In der Nase süße Früchte, Getreide, Karamell, Sherry, duftendes Leder/Eiche, im Mund dann wieder Süße, dazu Vanille, Karamell, leicht "öliges" Mundgefühl, eine leichte Schärfe, dazu Eiche/bitter (angenehm!).
Ein duftiger Abgang, anhaltend, vor allem Eiche und Karamell.

Sehr gut, ein Favorit!
