Tormore 15 Year Old 1995/2011 Signatory 43% vol. 0,7l

The independent bottler Signatory was founded in 1988 by the brothers Symington in Edinburgh.
At the beginning of their history, the brothers did not yet have the necessary influence in the whiskey industry, so the two often had to put up with barrels that spurned by the large, renowned independent bottlers such as Gordon & MacPhail or Ian MacLeod due to low editions or even lower quality were.

This is now the past and from the small, insignificant bottler has become a renowned, acclaimed producer, who often comes up with rare and coveted bottlings.
Since 2002, the smallest distillery in Scotland - Edradour - owned by Signatory.

Tormore
In 1960, the blending company Long John International opened the distillery Tormore in the Speyside.
Tormore is now also represented in the Ballantine's Blends, alongside Allied Distillers, alongside the Long John Blend.

Tormore produces a soft and wonderfully round digestive malt.
