Mackmyra Svensk Whiskey was founded in 1999 by eight whiskey enthusiasts in Valbo, Sweden. It is the first and so far only whiskey distillery in Scandinavia. After initial difficulties, the distillery developed magnificently and today the new distillate flows daily from the copper stills into the barrels. Mackmyra procures all raw materials needed for production from Sweden.
