Product information "Talisker Rocking glass"

The new glass form in the Whisky scene!
From the shape of the glass initially reminds of a tumbler, but the difference is serious, the bottom of the glass is completely rounded and thus represents almost a hemisphere.

As a result, the heavy glass sits comfortably in the hand and the Whisky can heat up wonderfully by the hand surrounding the glass.

The name "Rocking" comes from the English language and means "swinging", "rocking" or "panning".

On the front is the lettering of the Skye Distillery Talisker.

Schöner Hingucker

Beim Kauf eines Sonderpacks Whisky waren zwei der "Rundbodengläser" mit dabei. Es macht schon was her, wenn nach jedem Schluck das Glas schön nachschaukelt. Daher habe ich vier weitere Gläser bestellt. Deren Form, Größe und Aufdruck sind wie die beiden aus dem Sonderpack, allerdings ist bei denen der Boden nicht komplett rund, eine kleines platte Stelle verhindert das eindrucksvolle "Schaukeln". Außerdem sind die nachgekauften Gläser nur 1,1 mm dick, während die beiden Gläser vom Sonderpack stolze 1,8 mm Dicke aufweisen. Daher bin ich doch ein wenig enttäuscht und wundere mich, dass es hier zwei "Qualitäten" gibt.
