Compass Box was founded in 2000 by John Glaser.
The idea of creating a whiskey to the taste of the customer is as simple as it is ingenious.
Compass Box Whiskeys are Blends and Vatted Malts and Grains!
The bottlings are without exception small runs, so-called "small batches".
Compass Box buys self-selected barrels of various distilleries and combines whiskeys, as you know it from any conventional blend or Vatted.
The results are impressive, with many critics and journals praising Compass Box as the most innovative whiskey blender in Scotland.
At the "International Wine & Spirit Competition" the blend "Asyla" won gold!

Hedonism - 10th Anniversary Limited Edition
The "regular" hedonism of Compass Box is a Vatted Grain Whiskey (by the way the only one on the market!).
For this jubilee bottling a single barrel from 1971 Grain Distillery Invergordon was bottled.

Here, as a reference, everything reflects what one finds in hedonism - elegant, sweet, with wonderfully reverberating vanilla, toffee and cocoa flavors.
