Compass Box was founded in 2000 by John Glaser.
The idea of creating a whiskey to the taste of the customer is as simple as it is ingenious.
Compass Box Whiskeys are Blends and Vatted Malts and Grains!
The bottlings are without exception small runs, so-called "small batches".

Compass Box buys self-selected barrels of various distilleries and combines whiskeys, as you know it from any conventional blend or Vatted.

The results are impressive, with many critics and journals praising Compass Box as the most innovative whiskey blender in Scotland.
At the "International Wine & Spirit Competition" the blend "Asyla" won gold!

All Compass Box fillings are not cool filtered and have no dyes.

Barrels: Islay Whiskey from Ex-Bourbon Hogsheads,
the other malts from new French oak.

Distilleries: Distillates from Port Askaig for smoke and peat and from Brora and Longmorn for the lushness and the fruity, spicy complexity.
