Balvenie Double Wood 12 Year Old with 2 glasses of 40% vol. 0,7l

Balvenie, built in 1892/93, is now owned by the fifth generation of the Grant family, who also own the neighboring distillery Glenfiddich.
W. & J. Grant are not related to the grants of the Glenfarclas distillery.

Balvenie is an outstanding representative of the Speyside region.
The malt produced here is wonderfully soft, the malt flavor displaces the Torfton without losing strength or even too sweet.

The Double Wood is stored in two different barrels.
First for 11.5 years in bourbon barrels and then 6 months in selected sherry casks.
The sherry is unmistakable in the aroma and taste, in addition to light orange tones.
