Amrut Intermediate Sherry - India - 57.1% vol. 0,7l

This whiskey first matured in classic virgin / ex-bourbon barrels before coming for a year into former Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
After this one-year maturation, the Malt received its final touch again in former Bourbon barrels.

Through this type of maturation, the whiskey takes on the most varied flavors of the individual barrels - the result is a very well-balanced malt with vanilla and sherry notes.

Aroma: Fruit cake, fruity and spicy, fresh oak notes, intense notes of bourbon and sherry
Taste: initially juicy sultanas and spices, then licorice with orange and honey
Finish: long and elegant with a hint of natural caramel
