Glendronach Octarine 8 Year Old 46% vol. 0,7l
Glendronach was founded in 1826 by James Allardice (1780-1849) and was owned for a time by the William Grant family.
Since 1960, Glendronach is owned by Teacher & Sons - and so the malt also plays an important role in the teacher's blends.
This Glendronach is a Vatting of Glendronach aged in former bourbon and sherry casks.
Aroma:
Citrus fruits, in the background a little marzipan and chocolate rasp.
Taste:
Fresh with a lot of fruit. Vanilla, butterscotch and toffee, followed by spicy apple pie - very soft.
finish:
Aromatic, again fruit and a nice depth.
