Glendronach ripened this single malt whiskey in fresh, newly burned exBourbon puncheons.
Filled in very small batches, this bottling unfortunately only appears irregular.
Aroma: roasted oak aromas so intense that they smell a hint of smoke, then a pleasant sweetness and tropical fruit, especially banana - behind it cocoa with roasted coconut
Taste: now spicy with ginger and cinnamon, warm pastries and an elegant smoky note, plus coconut, hazelnut and fresh butter toast
Finish: long finish with intense nutty notes
