Damals. 2014. Sandra hat uns diesen Single Malt im Aberdden Airport probieren lassen. Eine prima Empfehlung, der wir nun nochmal nachgekommen sind. Und er war wieder genauso gut.

Aroma: Waldhonig, Bienenwachs, Rosinen. Später (Birnen-) Früchtebrot, geröstetes Malz/ Brotkruste, Schokolade und Heidekräuter. Dahinter schwingen Eichentöne die sich mit Vanillekipferl und Orangenaromen mischen mit. Nach einiger Zeit kommen immer mehr Haselnuss- unf florale Noten zum Vorschein.

Geschmack: Vollmundig, pfeffrig, Honigsüße, Karamellpudding, Marmelade, und seichte Walnuss.

Abgang: Lang, würziger Waldhonig bzw. Honig und Kräuter, Eindrücke von dunkler Schokolade, Bienenwachs, dann Karamell und Orangenschalen.

Kommentar: Ein wunderbar runder Whisky mit vollem Körper. Abgefüllt mit 48%. Was will der Whiskyliebhaber mehr. Neuster Geheimtip! Kaufen! Kaufen! Kaufen!
