This bottling is a cuvee of various 8-year old barrels.
A light Glenfarclas with traditional Sherryton.
To settle between the 10- and the 12-year-old Glenfarclas.

Nose: fruity aromas of apples and pears, pastries and sweet sherry, some oak and smoke in the background
Palate: the fruits and the sherry are still present, the spicy oak moves into the background, but clear creamy notes
Finish: Medium length on the finish with a distinct sherry sweetness

Der Glenfarclas Heritage kommt mit einer süß fruchtigen Nase. Im Geschmack offenbaren sich neben einer fruchtigen Note etwas Vanille und eine feine Sherrynote, ich finde ihn schön rund und ausbalanciert, im Abgang lange anhaltend mit feinen Holzeinflüssen.
Ein sehr schöner Alltagswhisky, auch für Kenner und als Einsteigerwhisky bestimmt eine sehr gute Empfehlung.
