Glen Grant
Glen Grant was founded in 1840 by the former blackburners and smugglers John and James Grant.
The brothers were so successful that in 1897 they started building a second distillery.
They also gave her the name Glen Grant (No. 2), which was closed in 1902 and went back to operation in 1965 under the name Caperdonich.
Already at the turn of the century, Glen Grant was bottled as a single malt, making it one of the oldest brands.
