Murray McDavid was founded in 1997, specializing in the bottling of a wide range of single malts in short runs.
The bottlings are without exception of a captivating quality, which is not least due to the fact that Murray McDavid such greats as Jim McEwan (Master Distiller Bruichladdich), Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Gordon Wright (a member of the Springbank clan) together to have!
Awarded several times by various whiskey industry institutions, Murray McDavid stands for exclusivity and the highest quality.
Murray McDavid offers his whiskeys exclusively without dyes and without cold filtration.
The malts are in ideal drinking strength with 46% vol. bottled (only exceptions are bottlings in barrel size).

Under the highest quality standards, four to six barrels of a vintage of a distillery are selected and bottled in the in-house bottling plant at Bruichladdich on Islay.
Since December 2000, Murray McDavid has been the proud owner of the distillery Bruichladdich.
The original distillery was founded in 1820 and today houses the two old stills.
This distillery was closed from 1985 to 1990.
The second distillery named Linkwood (on the same property) was built in 1971. Here are four stills.
A pleasantly fruity Speyside, with very nice notes of ginger bread, toffee, raisins, cloves, orange marmalade, ripe pears, dark cherries and dark chocolate

Ich bin kein Whiskyfan und habe nur nach meinem Bauchgefühl und den entsprechenden Erläuterungen zu diesem Produkt gekauft, da unser Sohn ein bekennender Whiskyfan ist und es für ihn ein Geschenk war. Kam bestens an !!
