Jura 16 Year Old Diurach's Own 40% vol. 0,7l
In the 60s of the 20th century, the distillery was equipped with larger stills by the then owners "Scottish & Newcastle Breweries", who produce a milder whiskey.
Today, the distillery is owned by the Kyndal Group.
Very well-balanced malt with pronounced notes of cereal sugar, caramel, sultana, strawberries, walnut and black currants

Für einen Jura-Fan keiner Diskussion würdig - die riesigen Stills schlagen sich in einem weichen Geschmacksmenü nieder. Man wird damit sehr schnell zum Jura-Diurach!

Ein Whisky wie seine Bewohner, rauh aber herzlich, zupackend, kompromisslos, bodenständig, traditionell, wie eben ein Diurach ist. Es dauert etwas, bis man mit ihm warm wird, nichts für Ungeduldige oder "mal eben zwischendurch". Aber dann weiß man, was man hat, eine Freundschaft für´s Leben.

Der JURA hat mich voll überzeugt. Milde und weich im Geschmack, brennt nicht. Werde meinem Sohn, Whisky Spezialist, eine Flaschen schenken. Könnte mein Lieblings - Whisky werde.
