Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Bowmore still uses its own malting floors and is one of the few distilleries on Islay, who like to experiment with sherry barrels.
Enigma is bottled at the age of 12, the sherry keg portion of this bottling is significantly higher than the standard bottling of 12-year-old Bowmore.
The typical smokes of the Bowmore harmonize beautifully with the aroma and sweetness of Heidehonig.
