Springbank is one of Scotland's last independent distilleries.
It has been managed since 1837 by the Mitchell family, who traditionally produce and bottle their malt from start to finish.
Springbank dispenses with colorants and cold filtration, and the malt is produced as naturally as possible.
There used to be over 30 distilleries in Campbeltown (located on the Kintyre Peninsula) - today Springbank is here, along with Glen Scotia, the last still producing distillery.
The 18-year-old is much more powerful compared to the 10-year-old.
A slightly oily malt, which the sea air gives its legendary salt tone.
