The distillery was founded in 1897 in a deep valley between the towns of Elgin and Rothes.

The Glencairn Glass
Glencairn has been producing the ultimate whiskey glass for years!
The glass has the typical tulip shape of a nosing glass.
Through the bulbous body at the bottom of the whiskey can be very well warmed with the palm.
The tapered opening of the glasses prevents the ascending aromas from flowing out of the glasses.
On the front is the lettering of Speyburn, on the back of the typical fish of the distillery shown.
