Benromach Tokaji Wood Finish 45% vol. 0,7l

Benromach
Founded in 1898, Benromach only produced its own bottlings in its early days.
Benromach was later owned by United Distillers for a long time, they brought only two bottlings on the market - and closed the distillery on March 24, 1983
In 1993, Gordon & MacPhail bought the run-down distillery and renovated it for five long years. New stills were specially designed and manufactured, a new mash tun was purchased and the wash back was refurbished.
In 1998 - 100 years after its founding - they finally started production.
The opening was by Prince Charles himself!
The spring water for their whiskeys comes from Benromach from the nearby "Romach Hills".

A wonderful, golden brown malt, which initially stored in oak barrels, then matured for 18 months in Hungarian Tokaji barrels.
