Since the reopening of Bruichladdich by the independent bottler Murray McDavid in 2000 - and especially under the direction of Jim McEwan - the distillery and its whiskey shine like never before.
Jim McEwan - born on Islay and formerly master distiller at Bowmore - made a return to the original and natural in making Scottish whiskey.
For this reason, all bottlings of Bruichladdich are not filtered cool and without dyes.

Cuvee C - Margaux - Chateau Margaux
"The Bordeaux - First Growth Series" comprises six different 16-year-old cuvee bottlings, each matured in one barrel quality of the six largest French Bordeaux wines.
This bottling was given its finish in barrels of Chateau Margaux.
Edition: 12,000 bottles - with individual numbering!
