St Emilion Grand Cru Classé Wine Casks - Finish
After a maturation period of more than 8 years in traditional oak barrels, this malt was aged for a second maturation for 12 months in the finest French "St Emilion Grand Cru Classé wine barrels".
The French St Emilion wine comes from the eponymous village of Chateau Fonplégade.
The second ripening in the wine barrels created a wonderfully fruity, balanced malt.
Very elegant aromas of plum jam, cherries and roasted oak.
In the taste fresh and fruity with a well pronounced structure.
In the finish dark fruits and oak.
